Here are a few tips to help you shine in any phone interview.

Study the job description. Learn everything you can about the position you are applying for. If the facility’s name is disclosed, research the organization as well.  Interviewers expect you to be prepared with at least a rudimentary knowledge of their company. Be prepared to discuss how your experience and skills are a perfect fit for the qualifications listed in the job description.

Prepare to impress. Treat the phone interview as you would an in-person interview. Dress up more than you normally would to get yourself into a profession mindset. One of the advantages of phone interviews is your ability to have reference materials available, so take advantage of the opportunity to keep them at hand.
